Is YorkCalendar really free forever?
Yes. Unlimited event types, unlimited bookings, unlimited team members, routing forms, payments, reminders, embeds and API access are all included on the free plan. There is no paid tier holding features back, and we never ask for a credit card.
Do I need to install anything or pay per seat?
No installs and no per-seat pricing. You and your whole team can use it from the browser, and you can add as many members as you like without the bill changing.
Which calendars can I connect?
Google Calendar, Outlook, Microsoft 365, Apple Calendar and any CalDAV-compatible calendar. Sync is two-way, so events created in your calendar block availability here and vice versa.
Can I charge for bookings?
Yes. Attach a price or deposit to any event type and connect Stripe or PayPal. We take no commission — you keep everything except standard payment processor fees.
How does round-robin team scheduling work?
Create a team event type and choose your distribution: equal, weighted by priority, or based on who's actually available. Every booking is assigned automatically and reassigned if a host declines.
Can I embed the scheduler on my own website?
Yes — inline, popup and floating widget embeds are all supported, plus a full REST API and webhooks if you want to build something custom. All free.
What happens if I cancel or reschedule?
Guests get self-service reschedule and cancel links in every confirmation email. Your calendar updates automatically and any payment is refunded according to the rules you set.
Do guests need an account to book?
No. Guests open your link, pick a time and enter their details. That's it — no sign-up, no app, no password.
Is there a limit on bookings or event types?
None. Create as many event types as you want and take as many bookings as your calendar can handle. We don't throttle free accounts.
Can I white-label the booking page?
Yes. Add your logo, brand colours and custom domain, and remove all YorkCalendar branding from public booking pages — included on the free plan.
